Each loan is personally handled by an officer of our firm, which assures that your mortgage request and financial information will be handled in an efficient, professional and confidential manner.
Our various loan programs are specifically designed to meet the needs of affluent borrowers. The minimum loan size is approximately $1,000,000, and many of our loans offer interest-only payments for the first 10-years. Of course a complete portfolio of variable and fixed rate loans are available.

James P. Wentzel, President
An Aspen area resident for more than 30 years, Jim is the founder and President of Rocky Mountain Mortgage Funding. He was previously the Vice President of Finance of a major Aspen ski company. His background in the CPA profession uniquely qualifies him to analyze our clients' complex financial data, and quickly assess the borrower's options. Jim has been funding substantial loans in the Rocky Mountain areas since 1984, and is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. With a passion for the outdoors, Jim is an avid fly fisherman and a past President of Trout Unlimited.

Suzanne Schreiner, Montana Managing Broker
Suzanne Schreiner has been a resident of Big Sky, Montana since the summer of 1992, after graduating from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. She joined Rocky Mountain Mortgage Funding as the firm's Managing Broker for the State of Montana in 2005. Suzanne's intensive knowledge of the Big Sky area and her well developed relationships with the area's banking and real estate communities offers clients a very complete borrowing experience. Suzanne's interests include skiing, fly fishing, tennis and spending time with her family.

William Wentzel, Vice President
Bill joined Rocky Mountain Mortgage Funding in 1994, after a banking career where he worked as a lender and analyst for the consumer, commercial and private banking areas of a major midwest financial institution. Each of our clients benefit directly from Bill's diverse lending experience and background. Bill is a graduate of the Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business. His special interests include outdoor photography, golf and writing. Bill is the past Mayor of New Castle, Colorado.
